Pet Sizing Guide

Pet sizing can be a little tricky, which is why we would like to make it simpler for you. Here are a few quick tips that we consider when sizing our merchandise.

Sizing varies product to product, please check each product’s sizing guide for appropriate sizing.

When taking your pet’s measurement, focus on your dog’s chest (girth) and back length. In most cases, the most important measurement is the chest measurement.

How to Measure Your Furbaby:

  • To measure your dog’s neck, using a soft tape measure, loosely, measure around your dog’s neck where the collar will sit, sliding two fingers between your dog’s neck and measuring tape. Adding the two fingers should make the collar size about 2″ larger than the dog’s neck size (maybe closer to 1″ on very small dogs.)
  • To measure your dog’s girth, using a soft tape measure, loosely, measure around your dog’s girth which is the area around your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs. ( This is the most important).
  • To measure your dog’s length, using a soft tape measure, loosely, measure from the bottom of your dog’s neck, to the end of your dog’s back.

Note, some clothes will not stretch past your dog’s hind legs. We suggest also using breed references just as well as measurements.
